Dr. Sofia Bartlett is a Canadian Institute of Health Research & Michael Smith Foundation for Health & Medical Research funded Health System Impact postdoctoral fellow working across a number of research projects around viral hepatitis, HIV and other transmissible infections such as SARS-CoV-2, at the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control & University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Her program of research is broadly public health focused, and seeks to address gaps in knowledge around incarceration, viral hepatitis, HIV, SARS-CoV-2, sexually transmitted infections, injecting drug use, and the co-occurrence of these conditions, that have the potential to inform public health policy and health programming, while also advancing the rights and the health of people who are incarcerated.
